What do you associate with Sweden? The Battle of Poltava, the ABBA group, the Swedish family or the Swedish wall? And it is also the birthplace of Anna Johansson, a doctor who has made a real revolution in nutrition, after coming up with diets like the "6 Petals Diet".
The essence of the diet
You can calm down immediately, you do not have to eat exclusively six petals a day, the diet is more varied and, in principle, excludes eating flowers. Even though Dr. Johansson promises that in a week with his diet you can lose 5 kg, which seems to be an amazing result.
One petal is one day diet, when you can only eat a certain amount of one type of food. The order of the day is important, so you can even draw a flower with six petals yourself, write on each menu and serial number, and strictly follow the recommendations.
By the way, this is the convenience of this diet. No need to guess what to eat. You clearly know your diet for the days to come.
This, to some extent, is a single diet, but the body does not have time to get used to one type of food and switch to energy-saving modes. In addition, studies have shown that a single diet lasting less than a day is the most effective for burning fat.
The results in this diet are achieved through a protein-carbohydrate switch and a reduction in the number of calories consumed. You eat one type of food each day and don't mix protein with carbohydrates, which allows you to break down fat more efficiently.
How can you cook food?
Food can be boiled, stewed, grilled or steamed, but frying or adding oil is strictly prohibited. In addition, the authors suggest limiting coffee consumption to 1-2 small cups per day. Of course, without sugar. According to him, it is better to drink tea or mineral water without gas in an amount of at least 1. 5 liters per day. But in no case should you drink liquid food, only 30 minutes before eating or an hour after.
And so that hunger does not overpower you, divide all the food into 4-5 receptions. And you don't have to follow fixed intervals. Want to eat? Go and eat some. Well, or drink green tea.
You can follow the diet for two weeks in a row. But don't forget to take a break of at least two weeks before trying the next one.
With all this, the diet is contraindicated:
- Pregnant;
- breastfeeding mothers;
- with diseases of the liver, kidneys, pancreas, heart, endocrine system (especially diabetes);
- With anemia;
- With infection or immediately after illness;
- Exacerbation of any chronic disease.
However, although this is not a direct contraindication, it will be difficult for you to follow such a diet if you are working. Therefore, it is better to save it for the holidays.

No, this is not an optical illusion. And, yes, you read the name of the diet right. There are actually six petals and you need to change six different diets, but there are things as important as quitting the diet. The day you realize that you can do anything.
The main thing on this day is not to be so relaxed that you get back half of what was lost. Someone recommended dropping out gradually and advised for now to only eat the foods you eat while on a diet, only slightly increasing the portions.
Supporters of the radical method say that the easy way is not for us and advise spending the seventh day exclusively on the water. Which of these two options do you prefer - choose for yourself.
Of course, you can simply wave your hand and dive into the world of delicious cakes again.
Why is dieting good?
Will this diet help you if you decide to lose weight? Obviously yes, Sweden did their best. If you try, you will lose weight by 0. 6 - 0. 9 kg per day.
Can you survive without interruption? Also a positive answer. The diet is quite simple and allows you to eat enough not to look at a loaf of bread with longing and nostalgia.
However, despite all its effectiveness, the "6 petals" still do not solve your future dietary problems. Six days of the diet will pass, and you will return to your regular diet again, and it will return the lost kilograms to you. So even if you are on this diet, it is best to see it as an opportunity to take a step towards a healthier future.
